Salvage Car Buyers in Edmonton
Salvage vehicles are the ones that have been through something: a collision, a flood, a hailstorm, a fire, or years of hard use. Many can't legally go back on the road without major work. They still have value, and we buy them. We deal with insurance write-offs, accident cars at body shops and tow yards, vehicles with no keys and trucks with missing wheels.

Salvage vs. Non-Repairable in Alberta
When an insurer writes off a vehicle in Alberta, it's usually given one of two statuses:
Salvage.
The vehicle can be repaired, but it must pass a salvage inspection at a licensed facility before it can be registered and driven again.
Non-repairable.
The damage is too severe. It can only be used for parts or scrap and can never be registered again.
Our Salvage Services
Why Sell a Salvage Vehicle to Us
- We understand salvage status and price for it fairly instead of treating every write-off as scrap
- We pick up from body shops, tow yards and insurance holding lots
- We look at what's still undamaged: the engine and transmission in a rear-end hit, the interior in a front-end hit
- You get a firm number from photos, often before you've even seen the car again
What to Send for a Salvage Quote
- Photos of the damage and of the undamaged sides
- The insurer's status (salvage or non-repairable) if you know it
- Where the car is now, and whether there are storage fees
- Whether the airbags deployed
- Whether you have the keys
Salvage FAQs
Can I keep my car after the insurer writes it off?+
Often yes. The insurer pays you out minus the salvage value, and the car is yours to sell. Ask your adjuster.
Is a salvage car worth more than scrap?+
Usually, because undamaged parts and possible rebuild value are counted.
Do you pay storage fees at the tow yard?+
Fees owed are the owner's responsibility, but we can work them into the deal in some cases. Call us.
