Car Removal With No Wheels in Edmonton
A car without wheels is one of the hardest things to get rid of yourself. A regular tow truck can't hook it, a buyer can't roll it, and it just sits there on blocks. We remove cars with missing wheels, rotted tires and seized hubs across Edmonton, and we still pay you for them.
Call [PHONE] and tell us how many wheels are missing.
Why Cars End Up Without Wheels
Wheel and tire theft
Sets of rims, especially on trucks and SUVs, get stolen from driveways and parking lots. The car is left on blocks or bricks.
Project cars
Wheels came off for brake or suspension work and the project stalled.
Swapped to another car
The good wheels went to the daily driver.
Rotted tires
After years outside, tires crack and won't hold air, and the rims may have rusted to the hubs.
Accident damage
A wheel was torn off or a suspension arm snapped.
How We Load a Car With No Wheels
This is where having the right equipment matters. Dragging a car on its hubs or brake rotors damages the truck deck and your driveway. Here's what we do instead:
If the car is sitting directly on the ground, or in mud or snow, we may need a little more time. Photos let us plan the job before we arrive.
- Check what the car is sitting on: blocks, jack stands, wood or the ground
- Lift it safely with a floor jack where possible
- Place wheel dollies or skates under each corner that's missing a wheel
- Winch the car onto the flatbed and strap it down at the frame
Does Missing Wheels Lower the Price?
A little. Wheels have value, especially aluminum rims, and tires with tread. If the wheels are gone, we subtract that part of the value. Everything else, including the engine, transmission, body and metal weight, is still counted. If you have the wheels but they're off the car, put them in the trunk or beside it and we'll include them in the price.
Car Stolen and Stripped?
If your car was stolen and recovered with wheels or parts missing, report it to the police and your insurer first. If the insurer pays out and lets you keep the car, or the damage isn't covered, call us and we'll make an offer on what's left.
